 Christmas - last dates for dispatch is the 20th of December. All orders placed before 12 noon on the 20th will be dispatched on the 20th. Please note: we gaurantee dispatch times but not delivery times. We quote based on the dates An Post and Fastway advise. As we close for Christmas, our next dispatch date is the 2nd of January 2024

Ireland & Northern Ireland orders

We offer An Post or Fastway. 

Please note, we can guarantee dispatch times, however delivery may take longer than usual.  If you have not received your order within 7 working days please contact us. 

All deliveries in Ireland are sent by Fastway or An Post Couriers. Average delivery is 2 working days with the exception of the peak Christmas (November-December).

Please allow extra time for Personalised christening candles to be made as stated in the product descriptions.

International orders: An Post

Please note we have found all courier companies are taking longer than their stated times of delivery.  We do not have any control over transit times once gifts have been handed over to the courier and do not offer refunds or send replacement gifts in the event of a delay. Some parcels are delivered quickly, others are not unfortunately.

Please note: When you place an order on babygifts.ie you are agreeing to a 3rd party delivering your order. Orders can be sent by another method at your request. We cannot be held responsible for late/delayed deliveries. Once your order has been updated to shipped status, please check your tracking information, orders within Ireland are normally delivered within 2/3 working days, deliveries abroad will vary. We will be happy to follow up with the couriers/An Post on your behalf if their is insufficient information on their website. Please check your spam folder if you cannot find your tracking email in your inbox.

Should you provide an incorrect or insufficient address when ordering we are not liable to provide a replacement package.  We provide a return to address so providing the package arrives back we will re-send your order but we do not accept liability for the additional postage cost. Please ensure all details are correct.

Parcels to the UK - post Brexit. Update: we have suspended shipping to the UK at present due to the uncertainty of charges upon arrival.

Postage destinations listed as TBA (To be advised): We will be happy to quote the exact cost of delivery for your parcel if you email us before placing your order the total will be calculated at checkout and you can choose whether to proceed based on the cost.

Q. Do you ship worldwide?

A. Yes, Babygifts.ie ship worldwide. Simply choose your destination at the checkout box. Please note that in some countries, gifts are liable to import taxes that will not be advised until entering the destination country. Excess weight charges may also apply to oversized gifts such as rocking horses. We will contact you immediately if an extra charge is necessary for oversized gifts.


If your order it is not 100% free from defects in materials and workmanship, you may return it in new condition and in its original packaging for a prompt credit, exchange or full refund within 30 days. Please phone us on 091 631000 if you have a question regarding a return or exchange. Personalised or customised goods are exempt from returns in the EU distance selling regulations unless faulty.

Damages in transit:

We do experience occasional damages in transit mainly to our keepsake boxes. Please examine parcels and advise us of any damages within 24 hours of delivery. Email: info@babygifts.ie with your photos and we will respond promptly.  Unfortunately, claims outside of this period are not accepted by our couriers. 

Delays in transit:

All companies are experiencing logistical issues/delays/price increases. We would just like to be upfront about what we have control over and what we don't.

An Post - deliveries -  We stand in line in our local post office the same as everyone. Once a parcel is handed over, we hope that deliveries will be effected without delay. There are unfortunately occasions where this is not the case. We are very happy to follow up on delivery queries on your behalf, although frustrating, response times are varied based on the destination and are completely out of our control.

Fastway deliveries: We are happy to follow up on your behalf. We promise to send your gifts quickly and in an ideal world there would be no delay with deliveries. Unfortunately, we all know this is not the case, some parcels take longer than others which is out of our control due to back logs in border controls, driver issues ect. Please be patient, particularly in the run up to Christmas. Order in plenty of time to allow for disruption in transit.
